Once you register the agency performs a background check. This process takes at least a week. So you need to give them ample of time.
The second step will be to pay your fees and submit the relevant documents. You will have to submit documents that prove that you are at least 18 years old. Once you pay your fees you get your course material.
The third step is to take up the course to get your guard card. This process often involves going through rigorous classes where you will be taught about the rules, laws and security procedure that you need to follow when you resume work as a security guard. You will have to appear for the guard card exam which is somewhat difficult if you are not prepared.
The fourth step will be to fill out an application form, if you have passed in the test. This form registers you with the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services. You are now a licensed and official security guard card holder. The final step will be to submit your fingerprints. This will be your last step. Once you do this you will register your self with other security guard agencies and your profile will be maintained in a database by the bureau.
